• What I Use

The base for each salve has healing herbs that are good for any postpartum parent dealing with rashes, scarring, vaginal tears, incision healing, eczema, acne, burns, cracked nipples, sore muscles, diaper rash, swelling, and more.

I use organic almond oil, organic beeswax, comfrey leaf, and locally sourced lavender, calendula, and broadleaf plantain.

  • Why I Use It

Lavender - locally sourced! Good for all kinds of skin irritations and is anti-inflammatory and anti-itch.

Calendula - promotes cellular growth, is anti-septic, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory. In one study, calendula was shown to speed healing by nearly 50% when used within the first eight days of treatment.

Broadleaf plantain - locally sourced! Plantain grows mostly as a weed in yards but it has powerful healing properties simular to calendula. It is anti-inflammatory, reduces swelling and redness, soothes rashes, itching, and even eases the annoyance of bites and stings.

Comfrey (leaf) - Comfrey root can cause liver toxicity and therefore I only use the leaf which doesn’t have the same complications. Comfrey has been used in traditional folk medicine from time immemorial. Good for bruises, sprains, and any muscle or tissue damage. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • Placental Infusion Option

The healing salve I make can also be infused with your own dehydrated placenta to tailor-make the item to your own body’s healing.

This is the best option for recovering from surgical births, vaginal tearing, episiotomies, or for sore a perineum.

All herbs and dehydrated placenta are strained out after infusion but before being placed in their containers.
